Comments We went to Aruba for two weeks of sun and fun after visiting there as a day spot from a cruise. I had completed my in pool sessions and test with our great dive shop here in the Sault, called Sault Scuba. I was really looking forward to completing my open water dives there as my husband took the PADI course. After consulting with the staff at Pelican, I decided to do my PADI certification along with my husband. Jacky was our contact at the dive shop, and Diana and Famke did our open water dives and certifications with us. Jerry was great as a dive master, and gave us several tips to work on, they are a great buch to work with newbies such as my husband, and were quite comfortable letting me do my thing as I had prior training, but keeping a close eye on every aspect of our diving. We ended up both certified and the diving is great there. We went to the Arashi reef (48 feet), the Pedernalis boat (25 feet)and the Atilla shipwreck. We saw wonderfull fish and the blue parrott fish are not to be missed. Several species of angelfish, and the smooth trunk fish are so cute to watch swimming, and on the last dive a huge porcupine fish, it had to be 3 feet in length. Many thanks to the great staff, we will definately back!!
