Comments Contacted shop manager via email week in advance of arrival and he verified he "penciled me in the schedule" for 3 days of diving. When I got to the shop they had no idea who I was and no reservation. Was told there was no room on boat on first day, other two days were ok. After a discussion the women at the counter did put me on the boat and it worked out fine. Divemasters are very friendly, helpful and are good guides. Be aware dives will be 40-45 minutes regardless of your air remaining. Visibility was not good. Had 30 feet first day and 40-50 the next two - pretty much the worst I have had in the caribbean, but it may be the time of year or currents? Boats were spaceful, clean and more than adequate even on the first day with a full packed boat. Overall I would use this shop again and recommend them as they did go out of their way to be helpful.
Occidental Grand Aruba was outstanding. People were very friendly, food was good and beach and pool were first class. It is about 300 yards from the dive shop and a very easy walk along the beach even with you gear....
Overall a very nice trip
