Comments The Buddy Dive operation was very disorganized. This is clearly too large of an operation and the different departments (booking, diving, concierge, etc) DO NOT work well together at all. There is an overall lack of communication between the departments and little attempt to please the customer when something doesn't go well.
This was our second time to Bonaire (first time to Bel Mar Apartments was much better in 2013). Our reservation was not handled properly as we were told that we could do our checkout dive on the afternoon of arrival however when getting there we were told that check out dives were only done in the morning. They acknowledged that the reservations person had made a mistake but made no effort to accommodate us that afternoon.
On several occasions they made faulty reservations (wrong times) at both an outside restaurant and they're own restaurant for a holiday dinner party.
They were certainly pleasant enough, but for some reason could not communicate or coordinate effectively with other entities, whether it was outside restaurants, other dive shops or even their own restaurant.
Probably the best part of the week stay was the breakfast especially the delicious omelettes.

UW Photo Comments The critters were great especially at Salt Pier. However, in general the quality of the reef (corals and sponges) was substantially decreased vs out prior visit in 2013. This is not unique to Bonaire but seems to be the case across the Caribbean.
