Overall Rating

Accommodation - Fiesta Americana was about half dive groups and about half
other vacationers.  Many were on a complete plan, wrist bands, all
inclusive. The only open restaurant served primarily buffet, although you
could order from a limited menu.  Noisy ambiance with loudspeaker-assisted
afternoon pool games.  Clean rooms and public areas, polite desk staff.
Would avoid Fiesta Americana next trip; not my vibe.

Diving - Fiesta Americana's in-house operation was fully booked for several
days, so went with Deep Blue, which picked us up at the Fiesta pier on time
every day. This proved to be an advantage as we got a later start and
smaller groups/faster boat compared with in-house guests. Deep Blue was
uneven. One of three boat captains was very helpful with gear, etc.
Divemaster sometimes energetically sought creatures, sometimes not.  Would
make no special effort to use or avoid Deep Blue on next trip.
