Comments Most of the coral reefs were beautiful--undamaged soft corals and hard corals growing thickly from 20 feet to 100 feet. Lots and lots of juvenile fish, and a reasonable array of mid-sized squirrelfish, trunk fish, parrots, angels, and morays. We did not see many large fish except a ray and some barracuda. Car Pile is a fascinating array of debris among the corals--geometric shapes among the flowing soft corals. Boat rides are in the 30-minute range; water was choppy making it somewhat difficult to ascend the boat ladder. Divemasters Becky and Jo were great along with boat captains Eric and Raoul. Even though they had only 3 divers aboard they took us to the best sites rather than close ones. Nice dive boat (no head) with a large dry area for keeping warm. Caribbean Sea Sports is located at the Marriott Beach Hotel which is spectacular, with a huge pool, swim-up bar, nice beach (but choppy water made snorkeling difficult) and beach bar and three restaurants. We could only afford it because we used "frequent-sleeper" points. Willemstad (10 minute ride on $12 taxi) is very picturesque.
