Comments As a senior diver, almost 79 years old, this is my fourth season diving with Under Water Tribe on a private dive itinerary focusing on shore muck diving and under water photography. Accompanied with my daughter we participated in 27 dives from the shore and/or jukung at a variety of dive sites in the Amed and Tulamben areas. Our dive guide, Parman, is an excellent critter finder. We were provided opportunities to photograph about a dozen different nudibranchs and flatworms, many Gobies and their burrowing shrimp partners, crabs, shrimps and tiny octopus and frogfish and various other critters almost invisible to my aging eyes.
The care and support given to me by Parman and our driver, Komang, to negotiate entry and exit over slippery rocks and/or loose sand ensured the safe fun dives that I was able to enjoy. This care on entry into the water was extended to the focus on safe diving once in and under the water. For aging divers who would appreciate a little more personal assistance with their diving the Under Water Tribe staff and management offer a 5 star service.

UW Photo Comments The diving arrangement on this trip was pickup service at the resort and transport to the particular dive sites. Setup for UWPs was not applicable as UWT is independent of the resorts at which we stayed. However, water-tight canvas camera bags were supplied for transporting camera gear and filled with rinse water on location if camera rinse tanks were not available. The bags remained with us on return to the resort for more thorough rinsing there. Setup at the resorts was essentially a desk or table in the room as our arrangement with UWT was independent of our accommodation.
