Comments [None]We had a wonderful week in Cabo Pulmo,Mexico. We found a small village there with sand roads and horses taking casual walks on the road! The people were so friendly and helpful. We found the staff at the Baja Bungalows to be extremely welcoming and helpful to us when we needed anything at all. The scenery is desert like but so beautiful with mountains in the background and beautiful sunsets. Our dive operator was Tierney from Mar Y Sierra dive shop. He went out of his way to find any type of fish you wanted to see. He lead the dives in a slow pace which was great for taking pictures. We wanted to see big schools of fish so he took us to a 60 ft. high tornado of horse eyed jacks which must have had over 1000 fish in it! I saw some tropical fish I had never seen such as a Forceps butterfly fish and a white faced surgeon fish. I love the Moorish Idol and I saw schools of them in several locations. High winds on several days didn't stop Mar Y Sierra from giving us some great dive days as they took us to a protected area in Los Fraeles. The fish life was a little different there also. I saw a Convict fish there which I had never seen and also two very big bump head parrots. We also saw Spotted eagle rays and Mobula rays in a school of 8 or 9. We will definitely go back as soon as we can!
