Comments Loved the trip. Wish I had taken a muck stick. Tapping them on the bottom would get jawfish to come out of the hole and toward the sound.
I went to the Sea Lions and loved swimming with them. Trying to match their twisting and turning caused them to double their speed and come up for face to face encounters. Harder to take pics when spinning but increased the fun and worth it.
Snorkeling with Whale Sharks was great and had one stay beside me and match my speed/direction for many minutes. Seemed like forever.
Did not know what to expect for macro but loved it. All different creatures than the Carib and lots of them.
Rocks were so covered with growth, it was hard to find a safe place for a finger hold and creatures in lots of locations.
Gobies and blennies seems to like photobombing. Using several takes on the same subject usually resulted in 1 or more of them joining the picture.
Most Christmas tree worms allowed multiple takes without retreating.
The dive guides would notify us well in advance if the site was W/A or Marco so plenty of time to switch.
A great trip and one I hope to repeat.
Minimal current on all but 2 dives. One dive had very strong current and we had to end the dive a bit early. Was told we had less current that typical for the sites.

The boat had 20 divers and we were split into 3 groups, taking turns who gets to go first. Never crowded at sites.

UW Photo Comments Large camera table. Virtually all 20 divers had camera gear as this was to be a Photo Clinic. Enough space for us all. Dedicated camera rinse tank. They took the camera into and out of the panga for you.
Been on Rocio Del Mar before and loved it then, continued with that this trip.
