Comments Diving with this shop is so easy. They run two day boats, the Republic IV and the Republic VII, each able to accommodate 20-25 divers (rarely that many). For those with their own tanks, the deck hands frequently will carry your tanks to the boat and set you up...inside or out at your discretion. They usually run their nitrox at 36% to maximize bottom time and safety but you can ask for any mix and they happily and quickly respond. Their boats offer free snacks and drinks, both canned sodas and fresh water. Dive briefings are highlighted by full color diagrams and they go through an extensive briefing on getting off and back onto the reef, what to do if you get separated and which heading to take if you are in the sand or on top of the reef. Pick up is simple...inflate your BC and wait for the boat to come to you! The shop is fully equipped to service your needs...buy new, rent, wait for the sales. Divemasters are really friendly as are the deck crew and they will help you into your gear at the transom if you have physical conditions requiring help. Same on exiting the water. Many different reefs and at least one favorite "Wreck Trek" with the Esso Bonaire, Zion and a barge...all populated by Goliath Groupers and sharks...lemon, nurse, reef. Reefs are in good shape with relief at 70-90 feet. Lots of Goliath groupers, turtles, moray eels, Atlantic spadefish and angelfish of all varieties. Fish populations are extremely healthy and can totally swarm around you. Drift diving is made simple by this organization. Parking is on site and free.

UW Photo Comments There is no camera table on board but there is a camera tank of fresh water exclusively for cameras. Staff is very careful handling cameras to the divers in water and retrieving them from in water divers when the dive is over.
