Comments This was our 15th live aboard and tenth Aggressor. It was by far the best experience yet. The crew was beyond helpful. They helped us get geared up and took our suits and booties off after the dives and put them in a rinse tank with an antibacterial agent so the suits never smelled bad, even after a week of diving. They always had the gear ready at our station when it was time to dive. The Nitrox fills were consistently 33-34%. Most dives were done from the boat but the ones from the dinghies were easy due to the crew's help. They assisted in boarding the dinghies and were always there when we surfaced to take our gear and help us aboard. The corals are healthy and the sea life is abundant and varied (we did the southern route), and the diving was easy. There is always a leader in the water but you are free to dive your own profile if you wish. The standard rooms are spacious for a liveaboard with lots of storage room and the bathroom is large with plenty of shelf space. Each standard room has two beds with a cabinet, shelf, and drawers between them. There is a porthole in the bathroom and one in the main cabin. There are flat screen TVs in each cabin and videos are available to download on provided thumb drives. The crew keeps the boat immaculately clean and nothing is out of place. The food was good, although it took a day or two for the chefs to figure out how to make better vegetarian selections. They had a cocktail party with sushi the last day of the trip and even provided vegetarian sushi. We booked shore tours with Liveaboard Vacations, Aggressor’s in-house travel agency and everything was handled well. They booked us travel to and from Cairo, Hurghada, and Luxor and our hotel in Luxor. Our trip leaders met us at the airport and took us to our hotels, picked us up for our tours, and provided excellent tours for the temples and pyramids. The Maritim Jolie Ville in Luxor is a great hotel and very safe. Overall, we had an excellent time and would return to this boat again. Egypt is a little scary (okay, a lot scary) but our guides and crew made everything easy.
