Comments Mermaid divers were recommended; they were good except Tito was pissed about the poor people from south America and
Dominican Republic working for less than the Aruban people;
Bero was a happy divemaster and found critters that other divemaster did not find; unfortunately, the Mermaid divers are so popular that the boat is usually crowded; they do not set up nor change tanks; they do take inexperienced diver ( less than 12 dives) to 130 ft; they do try hard to please the divers; they do give discounts and drinks/ fruits after the 1st dive. Other dive operations also pick up at hotels.
The Renaissance hotel is very close to the Marina; there are many places to eat at the Renaissance plaza/ marketplace--breakfast can be $3.45 to $15; dinner can be < $10 to >$30+.
The weather can be windy and cloudy sometimes. The water was cold at 26 deg. C.
