Comments Knowledgeable friends encouraged us to visit this site because of the abundant fish community and we were not disappointed. We are into seeking out new species of fish and found several that are not commonly encountered farther north where most the Aussie diving happens. The common gray nurse sharks and wobbegongs attract most divers to South West Rocks but there are many other interesting species too.

We were particularly pleased with the dive operation: friendly, attentive, skilled dive masters who really cared about our experience. We were given a free CD documenting our dives and most of the fishes, thereby making post-dive identifications easy. We have been diving with at least 30 companies and this may well be the best we have seen.
