Comments | It was a good experience. We dove in 5mm suits, the water was around 72 degrees. A major objective of the trip was snorkeling with Dwarf Minke Whales. The diving was good but I wouldn't say great. Many of the reefs have been damaged by 2 recent cyclones that has broken up the coral. However the coral does appear to be regenerating. The Minke whales did appear several times as advertised. We had two long sessions with them one 2 hour and one 4 hours. We had between 4 and 6 whales each session. the crew was excellent very helpful, the food was good and the accommodation was really good. The Spoilsport is a Cat therefore larger cabins and more stability. Stability is important as we has about 3-4 foot seas most of the time so the boat does rock. Had a really great BBQ party on the last night with the "Pirate" Captain RRRRR on guitar, a great sing along was had by all. We had 29 guests on board so diving was divided up several times. Did see some large Cuttlefish on the first dive. they were very cool.

Enforced diving restrictions | Most of the diving was set up as the pool was open. A detailed dive briefing was provided and then off we went. Generally the bottom was within 100 feet so no issue about really going to deep
