Comments Loved it - The Reef Encounter Live-a-board experience offered an easy on board and flexible experience for both divers and snorkelers. The company owns a day vessel-Reef Experience( do not go on the Compass-their lower budget shuttle that adds an extra hour on to the reef arrival time) that shuttle Divers & Snorkelers a transport to the live-a-board on a daily basis- 365 days per year. Min 1 night.
The dive packages include 4 dives per day however;guides on the dive cost 15.00 per dive extra.Dives to choose from are 6 per day.
Schedules are posted in all cabins.
Snorkelers have 5 chances daily to get in the water.
Accommodations: Rooms with windows and very comfy bed with plenty of storage and adequate shower and towels.Dryer on-board for wet towels was a plus.
Meals: 3 full meals daily and snacks.Premium snacks and coffee are offered for sale ,rest is complimentary. Nice offering of high quality teas and always filtered water. Reef encounter will accommodate dietary restrictions.
Premium service packages with upgraded meals and special occasions is available for an up charge.
Photographers: 1 on-board- Mark.
Staff: Good
Dives: Ave Reef depth around 50 ft. Night dives every evening.
Safety: Diver checks in after every dive/snorkel and again every night
Overall great for new divers.More experienced divers can go on a buddy system.
