Comments The good: courteous, smiling staff always willing to help with anything. Boat and accommodations were surgical clean. Endless hot water showers, a GIGANTIC dive deck. Staff adjusted the dive sites to meet our desired types of diving and characteristics of the site(s). Our stateroom had a real toilet (not a cantankerous marine head) and a separate shower! Emphasis on diving safety, used tags for in the water/on the boat. Easy access to non-diving activities, such as beach excursions, freediving, deep water fishing. The boat is big and stable.

The marginal: Nitrox varied from a low of 29% to (occasionally) 32%, I just set my computer to 30% and left it there.

The bad: Demand is high for the AquaCat, we returned home and immediately re-booked. The only openings were in 2 years! It's a reflection of how good the boat is.

COVID: one diver felt ill in the middle of our week, the staff had test kits and procedures they implemented immediately. When the diver tested positive: the vessel was wiped down everywhere with bleach, the dive deck was bleached and pressure washed (this at 0400 in the morning!). The diver was confined to their stateroom, with room service by the staff for food and entertainment. The captain was open and honest, had an all-hands meeting and kept us in the loop. It's bound to happen, and I felt it was very well handled in a forthright manner, not swept under the rug.

Batteries and fire: all significant battery charging has been moved to a designated charging shelf outside on the dive deck, that shelf has a fire suppression system in place. Every stateroom has the ability to escape at opposite ends of the vessel, and this was very well covered in the first-night safety brief before departure.
