Comments These boats are not for anyone who has the slightest problem with seasickness or aspiration pneumonia. The time of year we went may have contibuted to the problem. Seas did get rough. One day it was bad enough that dives were cancelled due to unsafe conditions entering and exiting water. Fortunatly we had a cabin to ourselves that had excellent A.C. so we were able to suffer in privacy. The dives we were able to do were all excellent. The fish were plentiful and varied. Sharks were seen on dives other than the shark feed. My two main complaints are: 1. Crew failed to check up on us while we were ill. We could have been dead in the cabin and they would not have known. 2. After a diver error DCS hit on the other boat, our divemaster became over cautious. He would not allow us to do a requested dive to repeat a wall starting at 115 ft because divers had been drinking the night before. I do not drink, but I do know that everyone was having fun but were not intoxicated. The divemaster for the other boat was seen staggering drunk to the point of almost falling off the dock. To punish us for the actions of a diver on the other boat was not right. Even though we will not dive with Blackbeards again I would recomend it as a great value with superb diving for those who don't mind camping on a boat.
