Comments This was a Venturing Scout Crew trip that went extremely well. Most of the scouts were not very experienced, with this being their first ocean experience. The captain & crew went out of their way to ensure safe and enjoyable experiences by all. One open water student saw a hammerhead shark at close range on her fourth dive! That will be a hard dive to beat in the future. Several of the scouts were talking about a reunion already.

Food was good & plentiful.

Make sure to take a large enough towel to at least cover your hair going from shower to cabin (comment by my wife). Also, use duffle bags for clothes. Hard suitcases have to be stored on shore normally.

There is only one divemaster/instructor on-board and he is generally not able to dive as he accounts for the divers, and assists them back aboard.

Great time by all. Thanks to Captain "Red" & crew.
