Comments This was one of the most enjoyable dove trips I’ve been on. The boat, while it is not a luxurious dive yacht, is very well suited to this kind of diving and is well maintained. The beds were comfortable. There are 6 cabins to accommodate a max of 12 guests. We only had 9 on our trip. More than half of the passengers were repeat customers, some many times over. This was our first time to Tiger Beach and on the Dolphin Dream liveaboard. I have to say that there is probably no better shark diving out there. We’ve done other uncaged diving with large sharks and this was several levels above. The crew (Ryan and Finch) are excellent and exceedingly knowledgeable and safety conscious. Of course everyone is nervous getting in the water with anywhere from 4 to 7 large (some are ~13 feet long) tigersharks, but the crew really did a great job running a vert organized operation. I can’t wait to get back on the Dolphin Dream. While the diving is not particularly challenging given the shallow depth (hence no need for nitrox), this trip is much better suited for experienced divers who can devote their concentration and attention to the large animals and not have to worry about gear issues or slight current or surge.

UW Photo Comments While there was no dedicated photography room per se, the salon tables could be used for photography setup and maintenance and this worked quite well. There was no difficulty in finding room to work in the salon. Plenty of charging ports as well. I was happy to see that the crew asked guests NOT to charge anything in the cabins unless we were actually in the cabins for safety reasons. Ryan and Finch were extremely careful with the camera gear.
