Comments We stayed at Sandals for a few day, and since SCUBA is included along with all the equipment, we decided to dive a couple of afternoons. It is mandatory for all divers to bring a signed Dr.form that you download on their site. Sandals is fabulous- ocean view club level is great. It is all inclusive, with top shelf liquor, food, water sports, and all tips included. the only money I spent was $7 for a souvenir. Sandals offers PADI certifications, snorkel and dive trips. the morning trips are to deeper sites, the afternoons to shallower spots .We took a van to the dive shop, where we were fitted for equipment. We took along our own masks, computers, and wetsuits. the friendly crew welcomed us onboard. We dove 2 afternoons- the first day was with Delond- friendly and helpful, but way too fast in the water. the water temp was about 82, viz 40 ft. We dove Carlysle Bay both days- where there are 5 small wrecks. We saw the typical reef fish- trumpets, squid, grouper, angels, etc. the highlight was watching a smooth trunkfish play with a starfish- then eat it. The second day our dive master was Ron, also friendly, and pointed out things. The viz was 30-40 ft. we saw 2 turtles, a couple of spotted morays, flying gurnard, numerous garden eels, and reef fish as day before. Max depth of the dives were about 45 ft for just under an hour. We will be returning to Sandals in Feb., and will dive with them again.
