Comments We arrived a day early and stayed at the Fort George Hotel ($130). cab to the hotel is $15 a person. We couldn't board the boat until 3:00 so the hotel will store your luggage and someone from the boat will bring it aboard. You set up your gear and use the same tank for a week. Nitrox is $100. Our room was pretty spacious for a liveaboard. They moved two beds together so we had the equivalent of a king sized bed. Food was excellent. The best diving was at Lighthouse Reef Atoll, which is probable the best diving in the Caribbean. We saw sharks on almost every dive and lots of friendly groupers. Our favorite site was Angelfish Wall which had a number of day boats from San Pedro. We first went into the turtle grass where we saw a number of turtles. Divers said they saw hawksbill, loggerhead and green turtles. We then went to the wall where there was a steady stream of sharks and a few eagle rays. The whole crew were great and we were lucky that the other 18 guests were a delight. The weather was sunny and fairly calm the whole week. The week before they had 30 knot winds. Definitely will return. We were concerned about the flight back because it was over the 4th of July weekend. We arrived in Dallas early where there was no one in front of us at global entry or security. Our flight back to Madison also arrived early.
