Comments This is my 16th trip aboard this boat. Obviously, I think highly of it, or I would not keep returning. I’m in the process of planning next year’s trip in November as I type this review in November of 2021.

The boat is one of the best liveaboard dive boats in the world. The cabins are spacious, with twin beds instead of bunks, and all have private heads. The crew is superb, and they work extremely hard to meet, even anticipate, the divers’ wants and desires. The meals are first-rate, from possibly the best chef in the Aggressor fleet.

The main attraction for me are the walls at Lighthouse Reef. There are plenty of fish and critters to satisfy even the most jaded divers and lots of opportunities for photographers.

We cancelled our 2020 trip due to concerns over Covid-19. This year, though Belize is listed as “Level 4: COVID-19 Very High“ by the CDC, we went ahead. The Covid testing requirements for Belize and the boat were clearly explained in the Aggressor fleet’s paperwork. Once we cast off, there was no requirement to wear a mask aboard the boat. When we retuned on Friday, all the passengers were tested shortly after our noon arrival at the dock, and the results were available by late afternoon, so we were well prepared to re-enter the U.S.
