Comments This is a hard one to write about. We have been diving on this boat for over 23+ years. At one time she was the pride of the Dancer Fleet and now she is Belize Aggressor IV. We aren't sure why she has been allowed to get into such a deplorable condition. Thread bare and stained carpets, cushions that were literally coming apart, most of the shades were broken and these are just some of the visual issues.
If we were lucky nitrox mix was 29%. It took forever to fill the tanks. So if you were one of the last tanks to be filled you might have to wait to dive the next dive. Because of the issue with the compressors we were not charged and we truly appreciated that. Then we had water issues. You did not know if after you soaped up, you would have water to rinse off. Then the generators had some issues, especially at the end of trip, when we totally lost them. Thank heavens we were on the way back to port.
After all these problems I must comment on the crew. They worked 24/7 to keep the boat going. Not just the engineer but all of the crew including Capt. Chris. I find this unacceptable and unfair to this crew. All of these problems should not have happened if the boat was lovingly cared for.
We realize that boats have issues but not like the ones we encountered on this trip.
We understand she is not due to go into dry dock for another year. Why? We don't know.
After all of these problems we had a great 10 day trip. The diving was as good as ever. Jerry, Carlos and Jean worked tirelessly in the galley even though they had to deal with the no water situation. The guest were fun as usual, but we will not dive my favorite boat, crew friends and dive destination again until issues have been address. We are so sad...
