Comments This is our 2nd time on the Belize Sundancer and our sixth live aboard vacation. Our fist experience on this boat left us a little disappointed with the diving, but very impressed with the boat and crew.

Our previous experience diving was that the reefs lacked larger fish and seemed a little barren. Divers on other boats told us that this was not their experience so we decided to give Belize another try.

This was a wine appreciation cruise so the format was five dives and then dinner. The implication is that there isn't night diving. Dusk dive equals night dive. If you wan to dusk dive bring your night diving equipment.

This is a good boat for beginning divers to try liveaboard diving. You dive right off the boat and the water is warm with little to no current. Visibility is an issue for finding the boat at the end of the dive due to a level of suspended material in the first 20 fit, but if you stay with the dive master this won't be a problem.

Unlike our previous trip we saw spotted eagle rays, 2 to 3 sharks and several large lobsters. Overall the fish populations were much higher.

The boat and crew were up to the usual high standards of the aggressor fleet. It has been our experience that there is always some problem on boats as heavily used as these dive boats. On this trip it was the generator that kept going out. This played havoc with the air conditioning, but not so much that it was a problem.
