Comments Great crew. Worked hard to take care of us on board. 6 crew for 17 divers was a bit light on board, but they all worked hard and cheeefully to take care of all our needs. Never a complaint from crew or divers.

Food was good, varied, and plentiful. Wine flowed nicely at dinner.

Nitrox was never quite up to promised 32%; more like 29%, and water in cabin 9 was a constant problem, but they always worked on it. And we were given a $100 credit for water problem and nitrox.

The only problem we had was when diving there was usually only one dive master in the water for 17 divers who all wanted to follow the dive master. This is not adequate for seeing creatures or especially for emergency situations. Also there was no attention paid to the divers when the dive master was doing photos. We have gone on about 20 live aboards over the years and this was only the second time where we felt stranded in the water and possibly not safe.

Stay at the Radisson Ft. George Hotel and eat there too. Forget about eating at The Smokey Mermaid Restaurant

Were you able to take any of the Friday tours? Website says they may not be available until Ft. George dock is repaired. I'm booked on the BA IV for April 29.

We didn't take any tours. This was our 4th trip to Belize and as always before we checked with the US State Dept. and it said (and still says) best to stay close to your hotel as crime is nearly rampant especially against tourists.... Sorry to add that news, but I guess if you go on an organized tour and stay with a group you'd be okay.....
