Comments Our dive group, Club Ed, has been aboard both of the Belize Aggressors over the past few years. This time, the Belize Aggressor 3 did not fail in 90% of the trip.
Starting off with Captain Jerome, an affable Belizean who was friends with a Club Ed member and was deft in his execution of Captain duties for the week. He was always about and incredibly knowledgeable in his demeanor. GREAT Captain.
Captain Jerome was getting ready to turn the ship over to Captain Ken Williams. Captain Ken is a "statement in understatement". I think he has forgotten more about the Belizean waters and the Belize Aggressor 3 than we'll every know. He began as the engineer and now is commanding this fine lady. Easy to talk to and incredibly knowledgeable as Captain as well as an entrepreneur.
Dive Master and Photo Pro Jay was always available and eager to work with all of us. GREAT smile and attitude! Lots of fun!
And Sergio...the ships engineer was a genius! My wife's Air 2 became schweckled and Sergio Belizean-Engineered repairs in the middle of the ocean! Most impressive work from this fellow and his smile never quit!
We've been doing liveaboards and I've never been able to do 100% of the dives. This time, at age 70, I made Aggressor's enviable IRON DIVER level.
I'm hearing impaired and this group really took that into consideration yelling when necessary! This deaf guy really appreciated it!
We usually do a Giant Stride (aka: The Elevator) off the side of the boat, led by FEARLESS Edee. He was recuperating from some surgery so we all entered from the back. It was fine.
Nitrox fills were VERY generous and always 32%. Top offs were easily achieved and welcomed.
We did The Blue Hole...again. Nothing has changed but it did get cold at 140'. I probably won't do it again. Once one finally gets there, there is no there...there. But the group was pleased.
Other dives were excellent. Lots of fish. Surprisingly few Lionfish.
The sharks are learning to eat them right off the end of a spear! Coral was in good, not pristine, shape. Easy and fun diving. The Belize Aggressor 3 comes highly recommended.
Only 2 trip criticisms:
1. Food aboard this trip was palatable, good, and plentiful, but IMHO, not of the quality/creative level we've grown to expect from Aggressor.
2. The Belizean ground experience was wretched! Belize REQUIRES masks to be work on land or be subject to arrest and fine. Total BS!

Where else diving All over the world aboard some of the best liveaboards in the world. The Truk Thorfinn was the worst! Over 30 liveaboards over the years! The Cayman Aggressor and now, the Roatan Aggressor were the best!
Closest Airport Getting There We flew American putting up with the usual American Airlines Covid BS.
