Comments Had a great experience on Belize Aggressor III. My wife and I had about 50 dives each under our belts and were ready to venture out a little from following a dive master around. The captain was very clear up front that, while there would be one of two of the crew in the water on each dive (mostly taking pictures and spearing lionfish), it was up to us to plan and execute our own dives. The various dive sites were great for our first dives essentially by ourselves. Little current, simple topography, and great stuff to explore while getting comfortable leaving the boat by ourselves and returning safely an hour later.

The reefs weren't as good as Cozumel or Richelieu Rock, but the corals were in pretty good shape and the critters small and large abounded. Lots of reef sharks, a number of turtles, octopus, squid, morays, etc.

We had one very organized group dive to 140 feet at the Blue Hole, a bucket list item. Most of the dives were 60-80 feet. 25 dives in 5 days is a lot of diving. Those of us who made every dive were rewarded with "Iron Diver" badges and certificates...

Accommodations on board were excellent, as was housekeeping. The food was great and there were adequate adult beverages available post dive. Captain Jerome and his crew worked well as a team and provided exceptional service, including morning coffee delivered to our room.
