Outstanding boat and crew. Most of the crew had been on board for less than a year but as a guest you would not know this. This was the captains first solo trip and he handled it well. The staterooms were suitable and cleaned daily. Towels changed on Tuesday and Thursday in the staterooms. We did not care for the food that much, to much cilantro and the chef can't cook an egg over easy. Everyone else on board did seem to enjoy the food. The diving was great. Wonderful walls loaded with fish. Hot showers with soap, shampoo and conditioner on the dive deck, Warm towels after the dive. The one thing you have to watch for is boat swing during safety stops. The boat is there and then gone. Several divers, including us, chased after it for a couple of dives and then it dawned on us that if you just wait the boat will be back. I didn't like the saftey bar set up for safety stops. When you grasped it, the boat would swing and you rapidly go from 20 feet to 5 feet. Not really good for a safety stop. We had a case of DCS on the boat. Some people ignore computer alarms and it will bite you. The captain sent a divemaster along with the diver during all the treatment (2 Days). None of this was the boats fault. Carelessness and rapid asents led to these problems. We do plan to return to this boat next year and highly recommend this operation. |
