Comments Although the weather did not cooperate for the first few days of our vacation when it was safe to dive Belize Pro Dive Centre picked us up from the house we were staying at north of the cut and took us to the shop to get sorted out the first day. On the poor days prior to our first dive the shop stayed in close contact with us so we had a good idea when the weather would clear enough to dive safely. Our first dives were in Hol Chan which was still pretty rough but day two we took a long trip to get behind Turneff Atoll where the poor weather was mitigated by the location behind the atoll. Dives day 5 - 10 were all within easy distance of the dive shop just outside the reef. Excellent diving days after the slow start. The diving was spectacular. We can't say enough about the professionalism of Belize Pro Dive - we were a group of 11 Advanced Open Water Divers - they gave us great briefings and once they were confident in us they gave us pretty free reign on each of our dives. Belize is wonderful for the varied sea life (nurse sharks, turtles, and all the usual reef wonders abound here). Of all the places we have dived Belize is tops on our list and BPDC is one of the best outfits we have worked with from initial contact by email in the planning stages to daily contact when in Belize. Crystal clear waters, wonderful sea life, great land life too. You can't go wrong!
