Comments The resort handled everything except the flights to Belize. In Belize Covid enforcement's were apparent, even on the streets of Belize City! After a wait at a hotel on the water in Belize City we were transferred by boat to the resort, a 90 minute ride in a comfortable boat. We had booked through an agent who negotiated a 2 br suite for us at a very good price. The room was clean and well furnished, very comfortable. It was a short walk to the restaurant, one day after a rain we had to battle the well-known Belize sand flies, but the rest of the time it was not an issue. All of the cottages had screened porches, making it look like a 50's style lake resort. We were all prescreened so did not wear masks, although the staff did wear them. The two of us were the only divers, the rest of the people were fishermen, all cordial people although they were seated together. The food was good, varied except for the daily wraps that we took on the boat. Two evenings the cook fried the breasted lionfish for me that our guide speared. The lionfish were a very mild but tasty meal. The day before we left the owner (an MD from my home town) did the Covid test required by the US for entry. Yes, there were 5 of us from Montana at the resort, a first for me!

UW Photo Comments There was a rinse tank on the boat and since there were only 2 of us that was fine. We were babied by the dive guide and the boat driver who cheerfully carried our cameras from and to our cottage. There were no rinse tanks and no camera room on shore. If there were more divers this may have been an issue but I expect that the owner (on site) would have figured out some way to accommodate a group.
