Comments We came into Bermuda on a cruise ship and dove with Blue Water Divers for three days. We had a great experience diving with them. The dive boat was an easy few minutes’ walk from the ship. We had arranged the diving through their website several months in advance. It was an easy check-in process and the boat process was great. The captain and crew made safety priority one. The dive briefings were done in an informative and entertaining fashion with some history about each site (especially the wrecks from the movie “The Deep”). Role calls were performed before we left the dock and after each dive.

We did three days of diving with two tank dives each day, each day was a reef and a wreck. The dives and guides were based on experience levels, which was great. The guide let us go at our own pace for the most part, since we had a couple of photographers. The reefs were outstanding and clean. The healthiest brain coral I have seen in years. There were a couple of fish we have never seen before; the Puddingwife Wrasse and the Clown Wrasse. We also saw, schools of Bermuda Chub, Blue Tangs and Blue Parrotfish. It is the Atlantic and not the Caribbean, so there are fish that we see in the Caribbean that are not there. The dive guides harvested a few Lionfish, but there were not that many to be seen.

We brought our own gear. The staff rinsed all of our gear and hung it up to drip dry. We were able leave our gear, which they stored safely away for the evenings. Their rental gear looked well maintained and was Scuba Pro.

The crew: Captain Chris, Justin, Phoebe, and Leah all took exceptional care of us. We hope to go back and dive with Blue Water Divers again.
