Comments | We had a family reunion 4 decades after our first family dive trip to Bonaire; 15 people with 13 divers in the water. While the place is getting very built up, the addition of cruise ship tourists has seriously deteriorated the island experience. Traffic was ridiculous with scooters and golf carts slowing everything making venturing to several northern dive sites almost not worth the effort. The East Coast Divers trip to the less-dived windward side was the vacation highlight. I lost count at 50 turtles on our one dive. Stingrays and Eagle Rays did many fly-bys and a huge turtle cleaning station was mind-blowing. If you visit Bonaire, definitely schedule an East Coast dive with Fred! | ||
