This was a great facility. The condos were spacious and clean. It was relly nice to have the option to prepare meals at "home" rather eating out for every meal. The boats went out several times a day, but the only option was a 1 tank dive. I would have liked the option for 2 tank trips. The diving was great. I really enjoyed the shore diving and it was simple. The fee for the condo included the use of a pick up truck. Having boat dives made it easy to explore Klein Bonaire and dive sites that were more difficult to dive from shore. Diving the town pier requires some hoop jumping as the habor master has to approve all dives and you must hire a local "approved" divemaster to lead the dive. Having said that I still recommend it as the dive was great with an abundance of very colorful corals and sponges. Seahorses, eels, tarpon and many small critters (ie decorator crab) also make it worthwhile. The salt pier has the same hoops and is also a worthwhile dive. On some dives currents were variable and one dive had to be aborted because the current was too strong to be safely dived. Overall it was a great trip! |

Boats had no camera water baths available. There were tanks dedicated for cameras on the dock to rinse cameras after getting back form boat dives and for the shore divers to use. |
