Comments We booked our trip through Island Dreams and flew down on the overnight flight from Houston. The lady manager (I can not remember her name) at Den Laman was waiting when we arrieved. This was greatly appreciated. The room was on the 2nd floor and you had to drag your dive bag up some steep stairs. The room was very comfortable with a full kitchen, good bed, cable TV and hot water in the shower. We picked up our breakfast and lunch supplies at the larger grocery store down town and only paid slightly more than would have paid at HEB.
Casablanca $27 was OK, Cactus Blue $40 not very good fish, Richard's $37 good fish,It Is Raining Fishes $25 very good fish,Sunset Grill $30 grilled fish, ribs, chicken very good, Sunset Grill $22 fish of the day very good. At Sunset Grill you do not leave hungrey.
The coral is very nice and there are quite a few fish. Thrumptfish, Spotted Drum, Parrotfish, etc. Visibility was OK and the currents were very mild. The problem is getting in the water from the shore. You have to suit up, walk across some rough rocks and wade into the water across some more rocks while the waves are rolling in. This is why I say Bonaire is "hard country for old men".
