Comments	Back to Buddy Dive... The resort was perhaps 1/4 full or less so no crowds. As always, great diving, easy diving from their jetty (we did this nearly every day) the usual easy shore diving with pickup and tanks all included in the price. Never had a problem getting into any restaurant - that was nice! We had trouble initially, booking the flights as American had discontinued flights for some time, restarted in April, cancelled them again, and restarted. But eventually we were able to do it and it all worked great. We needed to be double-vaccinated and have a PCR test within 3 days before arriving in Bonaire, and needed to take a PCR test the day we left. Apart from that (and wearing masks when entering restaurants and businesses) it was pretty simple. Bonaire without a lot of tourists is much better than Bonaire with them! No giant cruise ships in the harbor either. Downside - there is construction everywhere. Bonaire - and in particular Kralendjk - is changing rapidly. The roads are as bad as ever if not worse, but there is new construction on both sides of town. Between the airport and town is filled with new condos going up... None of this bodes well for Bonaire's future as a great diving location, but we were happy to see it once again.
