Comments 4th time to Buddy dive. It's best features continue to be the drive through air/nitrox and the 24/7 diving access. The resort is going under renovation, but it wasn't an issue unless you were in the building being renovated (we were not). The staff are friendly, but a bit disorganized. Its clear that don't have or don't use a software program to keep customer information to assign room, set up pick up from the airport etc. Don't expect things to go perfect for anything not related to the diving. I suggest you triple communicate in hopes one message gets through.

I would not recommend this hotel for any non divers - its non diving activities, rooms and layout are only average. The food was OK, but I would say the service was quicker than prior years. The Lions Den just closed and I understand Buddy's will be opening another restaurant in its location in addition to the pool bar where they serve both lunch and dinner. Breakfast is your basic food.

Pasa bon Pizza makes a decent pizza (open wed. through Sunday) and Captain Don's Pizza is OK as well. I would not recommend Buddy's Pizza.

Consider the 3 tank dive ($129) to the North end. These dives were easily the best of the week and the boat ride gave us a view of a part of Bonaire we hadn't seen before. Keep in mind no head on board and don't expect a great lunch - you may want to bring a couple of snacks/drinks.

The dive sites are definitely showing some wear, but still offer plenty to see.
