Comments We did only shore diving which we found very relaxing because we were not tied to a boat schedule. The diving was EASY. The hardest parts were the entries and exits due to the rocky areas near the water's edge. However, we did not get any scrapes, probably due to the fact that we had full length 3ml wetsuits on. We did 12 dives in all areas except "the wild side" which is on the east side of Bonaire. We found the Bonaire people to be very friendly and other divers were very helpful. We highly recommend Coral Paradise Resort which is next to Capt. Don's. It has only 6 relatively new rooms. The place was emmaculate and close to everything. The owners, Margarat and Kenny, are very good hosts. They take an interest in their guests and suggest places to eat and dive. There are lots of other fun things to do in Bonaire such as the Donkey sanctuary, windsurfing, hiking, bird watching, etc. We had a wonderful, relaxing time, and no problem with theft which has been reported in the past.
