Comments Divi Flamingo dive operation is well-run. Easy boat entry, easy tank pick up to do shore diving. Both of us were VERY disappointed with both the corals and fish on all dives. No large fish, only small ones. No schools of fish. Except for a couple of Azure Vase Sponges and occasional orange coral, everything is beige.

I wish we had known about the rocky/difficult entries prior to booking Bonaire. Probably my fault for not researching.

We met several other divers that stated it was their 11th or 17th dive trip to Bonaire. Why? We were bored with the dives, all monochromatic and virtually fishless. Just because it's cheap shore diving, it's not worth it to us, just to get wet.

That's why after visiting Aruba for 15 years straight (diving for 11), I've never had the urge to go to Bonaire. Lots of schools of fish and some big wrecks to dive in Aruba.
