Comments The resort was in generally good shape. Some parts of the ocean view rooms are showing some age but not too bad yet. The grounds are nice, the staff was always pleasant, food at the 2 restaurants was better than average with good service. Sara, the manager, made it a point to check with us several times and helped with a dive issue one of our divers had. Being interested in taking pictures I hung back in the group so I can't speak to how engaged the DMs were in helping people spot critters. The DMs were not too engaged while underway, the lone American we had on one day was really good and joked around. The dive locker arrangement on the dive dock was very nice, pretty new and roomy. The process for getting tanks for shore diving was simple and unfettered. All in all I would recommend Divi to others. This is our 4th trip to Bonaire and I would rate Divi as good as Captain Don's. We did do a dive with Carib Inn to do the White Hole. Great dive, great DMs. 2 DMs for 8 divers and when we were done with the White Hole we took a short, read could have been much longer, dive on the reef to end the single tank dive. Bruce B is a hoot, nothing like I thought a Bonaire legend would be like. A very nice guy, very accommodating. I'd have to say going to Bonaire and not doing the White Hole would be a mistake. 200 plus Tarpon, 300 Mahogany Snapper school, Goliath Grouper, 2 Moray eels, and a Sting Ray all in the hole, 3 turtles in 5 minutes on the outer reef portion of the dive. I first dived the White Hole with Wild Larry but Larry is out and some Dutch guys are running that great boat. Too bad they don't advertise as we were asking around town about Larry to do some diving on the windward side and didn't find these other guys until we showed up to do the White Hole.

UW Photo Comments There was a designated bucket for cameras and it was generally observed. A separate rinse tank on the dive dock for cameras as well. No separate table for dealing with any potential camera issue although there was room on the table which wasn't being used for anything else.
