Comments Second trip in two summers. I have no complaints about the resort. Good food with all meals buffet style. New soda drink dispenser at restaurant. Music entertainment at restaurant 3 nights a week. Rooms were large with large bathrooms. New flat screen cable televisions in rooms. Pool was clean. Beach area was kept clean for volleyball, beach tennis, etc. Entertainment at or near the beach bar on most nights. A new floating dock has been added since last year. This makes shore snorkeling/diving much easier to enter/exit. New room at dive shop being fixed up and old dive locker rooms being moved to it.
An excellent deal for the price. Highly recommend overall.
Worse thing is that the corals off of the resort are not as good as other sites, but passable.

UW Photo Comments Having dove Bonaire many times, there was not really anything new to take pictures of. But it is certainly a good place for new U/W photographers.

You are joking right water temp 78-79 Bonaire in July? Did you do shore or boat diving? How many dives a day? How many people on the boat? Does the shop have Nitrox? Any issues with crime on the island? Did you do the All-Inclusive or try other restaurants?

responding to rskuhn: Was there in late june/early july. Water temp was as stated and confirmed by three different gauge thermometers. Did shore and boat dives, mostly boat dives. Nitrox included with all inclusive/dive package. Only ate at the hotel restaurant. No need to go any where else for food unless that is your "thing". Average number of divers on their large boat ranged between 8 and about 15. Never felt crowded.

Addition comments to rdkuhn: Had no crime issues at the hotel. Safe in each room. I feel that the grounds are generally secure. Did two boat dives a day. I might add that I have been to Bonaire many times and I and others that have been to the Plaza Resort feel that this is the best deal going. Hope theses comments answer your questions.
