Comments This was a 10 day itinerary aboard the newly commissioned Cayman Aggressor V for the price normally charged for a week. I'll leave the reader to go to the website to check out the boat, but suffice it to say that it is wonderful. One of the most spacious and efficient liveaboard dive decks/operations I've experienced in my diving career. There are two, large, dual tiered camera tables with a large rinse tank available for photogs, generous hanging space for wetsuits and cubbies for small stuff. The food is excellent, but just shy of a 5 star rating. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and there's a divemaster in the water on every dive. It's the diver's choice whether or not to follow them or strike out on their own, although I'd recommend following the divemaster on certain dives such as Trinity Caves and Devil's Grotto. We dove sites on all three islands, spending an entire 5 days at Little Cayman which has arguably the best diving in the Caymans, if not the entire Caribbean (I've logged over 500 dives on Little Cayman). The sites were a mix of wrecks, Oro Verde, Doc Paulson, Keith Tibbetts, Kittiwake, walls and shallow reefs the last two dives of the trips. Night dives were available to be made every night except the two nights when we crossed between Grand Cayman and the Little Sisters. I logged 39 dives, the max available, and 37 hours of bottom time.

This is a brand new boat. Unlike the Aggressor IV, the cabins have side by side twin beds, NO BUNKS!, and a reasonably sized ensuite. There are two master cabins on the main deck each with a king bed, private balcony and picture window for $400 above the deluxe cabin rate. The common areas are nicely appointed, spacious and comfortable.
