Comments | This was our third trip to CDL, and as before, was quite enjoyable. The Lodge is adequate, comfortable, and certainly clean. We were met promptly at the airport by the McCurley's bus and returned there on the day of departure, on time. The food was good, not great, but plenty and varied. The bar and boutique are both on the honor system and where else have you seen that! The staff is excellent and there has been minimal turnover in the past several years, suggesting that this is a well run operation, which indeed it is. The boats are fine, with good speed, stability and reliable. The dive sites are superb, both the deep wall dives and the reef dives. The small critters were plentiful and the reefs were healthy. There was a very healthy fish population overall. The dive crew is excellent, and they try to please all the divers, asking who has dived which sites earlier in the week. They allow you to dive your profile, but are superb in finding critters and pointing out interesting tidbits. The diving was superb and the visibility was wonderful (80-125+ feet). All in all, this is an excellent dive operation and we will certainly return. | ||
