Comments Diving in the Cayman Islands is always quite good, but for those of us who like to see pelagics and larger fish, the relatively undisturbed East End of Grand Cayman is a great area to explore. Caribbean and silky sharks are not uncommon, as are big grouper and eagle rays. Therre is an abundance of reef fish as well. Some dive sites have interesting caverns and tunnels which add a sense of mystery.

The diving operation is very well run. The boats are clean and reasonably ccomfortable. Entry and exits are easy, and the helpful crew is always ready to assist.

The accomodations are large one bedroom suites complete with kitchen for those who want to save time and some money by cooking. I stopped at a grocery store to buy breakfast and lunch items. The on-site restaurant has a good and varied menu. There is also a very good Mexican restaurant right across the road, and for those with cars, some excellent restaurants nearby. Most guests get a rental car as part of their package.

UW Photo Comments Set up and other work on housings etc is done on the large dining room tables in the rooms. The boats have ample storage areas with rails to keep cameras from sliding off. Good rinse tanks on the boats; small rigs could also soak in the kitchen sinks perhaps.
