Comments Simply, wonderful fantastic resort and dive operation. All resort and dive staff extraordinarily friendly and super competent. Food and service superb. Grounds, room, bar, pool, dive operation as well. The reefs are in excellent condition. Deep, vertical walls in Bloody Bay area with moorings over 25-30 ft coral heads and level spots. Normally, 20-25 mins to dive site, then about 45 min surface interval before second dive. Back to resort for lunch about 1.5 hour before 3rd dive departure. Back by 3:45 to 4 pm. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm with bar activities at 8 pm. Valet diving except for wetsuits; other such gear. Lots of washing tubs and dedicated drying area. Our $1895 package included 17 dives, 3 meals/day, 21 drink ticket, ground transfers, and free use of bikes, kayaks, etc. Nitrox was $12 tank; four analyzing stations. The best organized dive operation we've seen. Tibbets wreck no extra cost - wonderful wreck. Penetrations not recommended, but if you're experienced, many long fantastic swim throughs - light at both ends.
Comparison with Cozumel. Overall Little Cayman reefs in better condition (no cruise ships, fewer divers), but we like the more varied underwater topography and restaurants in CZM. Larger fish, turtles, sharks in Cozumel. Not sure why. More Lionfish in Little Cayman, but not nearly as many as in Bonaire. Reef Divers doesn't catch them with guests, but there are derbys several times a year.
If you haven't been to to LCBR, go and you'll have a wonderful time.

Closest Airport Little Cayman Airport (LYB) Getting There Traveled Pres Day's weekend, arrived Grand Cayman (GCM) Sat, 15 Feb. Seemed all the planes (5-6) in the world arrived at one time. We had two hour layover and were in line for over 1 hr 15 min for customs. Looked like we were going to miss our flight to LYB, six loops left, so we asked to go to the front of the line and they let us. Made our flight, which, ironically left late. I recommend arriving at GCM as early as possible, even if it means spending a night at a hub, or travel midweek.
