Comments Little Cayman Beach Resort was better than expected. Recently renovated rooms are very nice. Food is excellent with a great variety and dangerous desserts. Lots of fun talking with other divers and staff in the evenings at the Beach Nuts bar. Reef Divers runs a safe, smooth operation with really good boats - roomy, enough shade, easy entry. Divemasters are friendly, safety-conscious and gave excellent dive site briefings with details and drawings. Water was cooler than anticipated, from 74 - 77 degrees. Chilly all week in a 3-mil with several extra pieces layered beneath. Weather was also a bit cool and often cloudy. Waves and surge most days, which affected visibility behind the wall in shallower sandy areas, but not out on Bloody Bay Wall. Corals dense and lush with lots of sea fans. Crowds of fish, all the typical tropicals. Turtles were plentiful, lots of barracudas as well. Three puppy-like groupers begging divers to pet them, a large school of curious squid, two seahorses, stingrays. There was so much to see on every dive, we almost forgot we were freezing. Will definitely return.
