Comments This was our dive shop's( Wateree Dive Center in Columbia, SC) 10th or so trip to Little Cayman Beach Resort and it continues to be an outstanding dive venue. The resort has recently upgraded the rooms and they are extremely nice and a diver couldn't ask for more. The food was served buffett style and was always quite good and well prepared. In fact, the food has never been better than on this trip. The dive operation is excellent. Reef Divers has excellent instructors and dive masters and they gave excellent dive briefings, with excellent artistic skills as they diagrammed the sites. Alex and Laura were excellent and our group will ask for them again on a return trip. The dives were superb with visibility of 100'+ on the beautiful wall, and about 60-70 on the hard pan and sand flats. There was no current at all the week we were there. We saw lots of rays, but few sharks. The small "critters" were numerous and the reefs looked very healthy. Of importance, is that we saw no Lionfish (yet). Previous dive venues we have been to (different Bahamian islands with lots of Lionfish) looked to have a marked decrease in juveniles with the greater number of these predators. We will need to control this problem in some way.

Transportation to Little Cayman was not too much of a problem this time. Going through the Grand Cayman airport is always a hassle, but we made it without too much of a problem. I'll take it over Jamaica any day. On return to Charlotte (USAirways), we had to sit at the gate for 30' after landing for whatever reason they could not tell us.

Little Cayman is still my favorite dive destination and Little Cayman Beach Resort and Reef Divers is still a great combination and we look forward to returning soon.
