Comments This was our 10th trip over 20 years to the Little Cayman Beach Resort with our dive shop, Wateree Dive Center in Columbia, SC. Our group of 20 divers flew from Charlotte on USAirways to Grand Cayman, and then took Cayman Express to Little Cayman. The resort is clean and well run. The rooms are nice, very good for divers.

The dive operation is excellent and we had Warren and Darryl as divemasters andf they are superb, easy to work with. We asked specifically for Warren since we had been with him about 2-3 times before. The viz was super, generally over 100' on the walls and about 60 or so on the reefs. The weather was fantastic, and water temp was 85 degrees. The reefs are healthy, with excellent fish life. We saw only 3 lionfish all week, and the grouper were numerous, healthy and friendly. The macro life was good, and photography opportunities were many. We saw several sharks, but more were seen by others. There were a good number of turtles seen.

The food was very good, plentiful, and well prepared, served buffet style. The staff was quite pleasant and friendly, always with a smile and pleasant word for everyone. The bar is fine, with many old signs giving it a unique personality.

The departure is well run by LCBR, but we can't wait to get a new terminal in Grand Cayman. It was ultra crowded, with too few check in lines, leading to much aggravation. Upon returning to Charlotte, USAirways had "forgotten" to get our luggage removed from the plane, so we waited an hour and 15 minutes for it to arrive. It was really screwed up and no one could answer any questions or find anyone who knew what was going on.

We certainly want to return and look forward to diving with LCBR again soon.
