Comments Don't expect to be greeted with open arms here! There is no orientation to the resort or dive operation. Staff seems burned out or depressed!
We were told to put our dive gear outside our room and someone would take it to the boat. Didn't happen. We found our way to the dive boat and sat on the dock while crew made themselves busy readying the boat. The staff completely ignored us! (a civil "hello" would have been wonderful).
Diving is great for untouched beauty, with good sized goliath grouper, terminal male parrot fish, etc.
You are not allowed to dive your profile, and depth limit of 100' is enforced. (Recently the Cayman Islands water sports association changed the depth limit from 100' to 130', but Reef divers sticks to 100'.) The profiles were such that we often came up with 900-1300 psi left in our tanks.
All in all, I think the East End of Grand Cayman or the North Walls of Grand Cayman are a better bet.
