Comments Southern Cross Club on Little Cayman is a true gem. My husband and I stayed for a 1-week dive trip. Situated along the beach, the setting is very quiet and serene. We stayed in the Veranda Suite East which was spacious and very comfortable with beautiful ocean views from the large wrap-around porch. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. Food was fabulous and plentiful for the week, with different preparations each day. An omelet station at breakfast with lots of fruits and other items; tasty lunch buffets, and beautiful and delicious plated dinners offering a choice from the day’s menu whether it be fresh fish, meat or vegetarian entrees.
Their dive operation is really spectacular. Dive groups are small enough so you don’t feel like part of a cattle herd. Divemasters are very knowledgeable about the reef’s creatures and behaviors and offer great dive briefings highlighting particular types of behaviors to watch for, easy ways to distinguish between similar looking fish, and other fun facts. Of course, the reefs and famed Bloody Bay Wall around Little Cayman are absolutely stunning with breathtaking swim-throughs, and great opportunities for wide angle and macro photography.
Overall, you will get spoiled at Southern Cross Club thanks to the comfort and serenity, food, diving and friendly faces! This is definitely a place that we will go back to!
