Comments Finally fulfilled a life-long desire to dive Little Cayman. Having heard about Bloody Bay for many years, it lived up to its billing. Many of the dives offered excellent reefs at shallow depths of 15-35 feet, affording colorful corals and critters. Nearby was the wall with a dramatic drop off into the abyss. Eagle rays were feeding nearby on several dives as we sat motionless on the sandy bottom. Encountered an unusual long single file line of almost evenly spaced squid near the surface - probably more than 50 of them - couldn't see the end of the line as it tailed off into the blue.
The dive operation at SCC is superb. Most of the dive masters have been there for many years, including the head dive master Mike, who is approaching 10,000 dives. They are willing to help older divers such as me to whatever extent necessary to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
The food at SCC is excellent. One evening after my wife's successful fishing trip, the staff prepared tuna sashimi for everyone, and tuna fillets for our table.
The staff is very professional, and know all of the guests by name. There are only 12 bungalows so the number of guests at any one time is small. The bungalows are very comfortable and right on the water. Outdoors showers in several of them are delightful.
Staying at SCC is a treat - for the diving and for the overall experience.
