Comments Very enjoyable and relaxing dive trip, with good weather despite being within the hurricane season. My wife, a non-diver, said she would come back in a heartbeat because of the weather and fabulous water temps/conditions. Sunset House runs a very efficient and reasonably-priced resort with good food available on site, and a variety of good restaurants within a 5-10 minute taxi ride into town.
Excellent shore diving from the resort, which is unlimited with the dive package. We did 5 days of boat diving in the mornings (2-tank) and had afternoons to choose activities of our liking, often the shore dives. We saw an abundance of fauna including nurse sharks, moray eels, spiny lobsters, crabs, rays, skates, octopi, and a huge variety of tropical fish. Great photo opportunities.
